Hello from Oregon and welcome to BYC!

I'm laughing over here. It's funny how we're all so surprised by the way our chickens multiply!

We started out thinking we'd have just a few backyard hens, meaning three, maybe four. As of this morning we have 25! That being said, since I joined BYC I feel remarkably self-controlled and am congratulating myself that I don't have 50. We certainly have room for that many. (I can hear people laughing at me while silently predicting I'll soon hit 50!) <---- NOOOOOO!

I guess I'll have to make a tag line too...2 black australorps, 3 leghorns, 5 pekin(?) ducks, 3 buff orpingtons, and 3 black sex-links. Not to mention 3 dogs, 3 cats. A fish/frog pond and several bird feeders. Look for me soon on one of those haording programmes.
