This is my second post and everyone has been so great answering my questions, I have one more now.
I have 2 beautiful white silky chickens, and I dont know their sex yet. One is definetely older I think than the other one.

My question is the smaller one, she is so sweet, the spot under her where they store water? Thats what the guy told me, is HUGE like a small balloon! and I pick her up and her tummy bubbles, like ours grumbles if we have gas or something. is this ok? the other silky, hers or his isnt even blown up like this ones, you can barely feel it! I have the food in their pen, and the stone (grit) and they love watermelon.

Is this ok? shes top heavy!! its like a little water balloon!

Someone please help!
Thank you

It sounds like she has sour crop. I don't have experience treating sour crop, so I hope that someone more experienced chimes in!

Hello and welcome....so glad you joined BYC

My silkies are such pigs they have huge crops most of the time too. Your best bet would probably be to post this same question/desc in the Emergencies section. The folks there will know the proper questions to ask to figure out if this is serious or normal.

Good luck to you and hope everything is okay with your little one

Welcome to BYC. It indeed sounds as if your silky has a crop disorder of some sort Do a forum search on 'sour crop' or impacted crop'.
