someones stealing my Golf Balls!

well.. I have Golf Balls in the nests to help the girls know where to lay, and for the past week Ive went out to the barn only to find egg shells in various corners of the coop and the Golf Balls rolled all the way to the other side of the barn, lol.. Im sure whatevers doing this is having a hard time breaking open this golf ball!

whats a good way to get rid of the rats? I dont really want to set out poison..

Depends on what kinds of rats they are. Really you can't ENTIRELY get rid of them. We have burrowing rats in our barn that were coming up through the cracks in the cement floor. We took in two feral cats from the humane society, and we haven't seen them since. Another option, though you'd have to evacuate the barn for a few days, would be to use burrowing rat bombs that poison them in the burrows.

hmm.. I really dunno.. I wish the cats would just get them *sigh*

my brother has some Decon he keeps saying hes going to put out, but that worries me bad.. I wouldnt want any of my chickens or anything else to get a hold of that.. or find a dead rat and eat it and get sick..
