Okay thank you so much. I’ll keep an eye on it for any changes .I'm not familiar with turkey's but I know it's not ringworm. Ringworm is a fungus. It's not fowl pox neither.
It could be some type of skin growth but as long as Judy is eating, drinking and acting like a turkey should, I wouldnt worry too much about it unless the growth expands or interferes with her ability eat and drink. Then it would be best to consult with a vet.
Poor girl, it looks like black head. Separate her from the other turkeys ( if you have any others) they get it from chickens, but chickens don't show any signs they have it, it also didn't harm chickens but can kill your turkeys. And you do not need to worry about ringworm, it's most likely not ringworm! Can I see more pictures of her? This is Judy and I just noticed something I think Is odd …. Does anyone else know what it is ? I’m scared it’s ringworm![]()
It’s only been getting bigger and swelling I’m out of clues on what it could beSorry, I just looked at the picture and it does not look like black head.
If you can, I would suggest putting on a pair of gloves and gently squeezing it. To me it looks like a cyst or an ingrown feather. Poultry pus is very different from other animals and is often very hard. It’s only been getting bigger and swelling I’m out of clues on what it could be![]()
