Hi everyone,
This is Fergus, my 1-year old muscovy duck. I hatched her myself and she lives on the lake behind my house, but tonight I noticed some unusual behavior out of her that has now been going on for about five hours. Symptoms are:
1) She doesn't make her usual trilling noise
2) She isn't eating
3) She hasn't pooped in five hours
4) She seems to be favoring her left leg
5) Her breathing seems labored or uneven
6) She is making unusual movements
She is currently laying and last laid this morning around 6:30am (her usual time). At first I was thinking bumblefoot, but the other symptoms don't seem to jive with that, but I'm a newbie at this. I've attached a few videos below, as well as a few pictures. I am very concerned about her and will take her to the bird clinic tomorrow, I'm just hoping she makes it :-/
