Something stuck on newborn chick

Hello everyone, I found a baby chick today but she seems to have something stuck on her vent. I’m wondering if it’s her umbilical cord or what i should do. I’ve attached some pictures, and would appreciate any help thank you !

I’m afraid that it looks like the chick has had a bad prolapse of it’s intestines. I hope not, since she will die. Hopefully others will chime in.

It's hard to tell exactly what's happening from the pictures you posted. Could you post a photo with the chick's belly facing the camera, showing exactly where the stuck stuff is attached to its body, and also a close-up of the attached stuff from a couple of different angles?

Hi , the photos aren’t great but i’ve tried to clean it and i can definitely say it’s coming from the vent. Hopefully these are better ? the tip of the string (?) that’s coming out is dried and black

I agree that it appears to be intestines. It may have prolapsed and another pecked it and pulled it out more. If it's intestines then the chick cannot survive. I'm so sorry. Difficult as it is, I would not let it suffer.

It would probably be more kind to put the chick down, as it would probably be in a lot of pain and suffering. So sorry about the chick.

Sorry for such a late update but he did end up passing shortly after I posted the last picture. And I agree with it being his intestines being pecked since I found my hen doing it to other eggs.
