Hello Everyone.

Recently, I posted a query asking for what might be wrong with one of my ducks. You can follow it here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/991744/duck-cant-walk-and-stand-for-too-long

It turned she had a Niacin Deficiency. All in all, she was showing good progress and began to walk fine. However, something about her walk began to feel odd. She would wobble while walking, and stand a bit upright. She also seems to be quite under-weight for a duck around 3 months old. Today, it was raining and she got wet. Now she can barely stand up for a few seconds and then just falls down as if she has lost power in her legs. This also happened while she was under treatment. One day she got wet and the whole day she wouldn't walk, just keep on sitting and eat grass. The other duck is quite healthy. I'll attach some pictures so that you'll know what I'm talking about.
. You can see here how oddly she's sitting.

This is the other Duck.

This is her odd way of standing once she gets wet.

A close up of her legs.

I checked for Mites, especially under the wings but she was clean. These Ducks are also Molting these days, but this one's particularly weak. I got these from a relative, and the female I was to initially have died because she was quite unhealthy. Apparently all the females were that way this time around.

I'd appreciate any sort of help. Thank You in advance.

She may have parasites. What temperature are you keeping their brooder? Do they have a brooder? Is this your first, because looking at the bill, that is not a duck.

@Miss Lydia is this a gosling?

I believe they are goslings Amiga.

OmegaQuacker what are you feeding them and do they get on grass? grass is a big part of a gooses diet along with good quality feed but grass is their favorite. Also never feed layer to young water fowl it can cause serious health problems
Are you still giving niacin or Brewers yeast?Grass for geese has to be short and thin similar to Perennial Rye soft grasses and no longer than 3" they can get crop impaction.
I wouldn't let this gosling get wet at all it seems to be making her chill so I'd put a blow dryer on her on lowest speed and get her dry and warm. Then get her some Poultry vitamins along with brewers yeast or niacin and try and get her built up. She may like some chopped romaine lettuce too just be sure they have grit.

Yes they are my first ones. And Yes I'm giving her Niacin on a regular basis. And they get to eat lots of grass. I let them out in my mother's garden and they just stay there eating grass. They are quite fond of it. They mostly eat Vegetables, but never touch Carrots. Every once in a while I give them boiled rice. I guess the Niacin deficiency will take some time to heal. Obviously it takes time for animals to recover from illnesses. So lets wait and see how it goes. Thank again folks.

Please keep us updated on how they are doing.

From the pics it looks like it has some sort of deformity high up on that left leg or maybe even in the hip area. If that is the case, Niacin will not help but I would definitely keep up that treatment just in case. If it's a deformity then it may need some help with pain meds as it grows up. I have a female Cayuga with a similar issue (she's had it since hatching) who is on Medicam now to control any pain she might have. She has a permanent limp, but otherwise is a very happy and active duck. I read in your other thread you already took her to the vet though, did they take x-rays?
