I had to laugh when I saw this today. Gary Larson has a brilliant ability to add a certain randomness to his illustrations of farm animals whether ducks, chickens or cows mulling around. Today we were sitting outside just watching the ducks industriously eating bugs and about 15 minutes before time for them to go in their house, they all collected together and just started randomly mulling about. It wasn't time to go in yet, but they new it was close so they were ready, but they want to stay outside, but it is almost time to go in....
The two older Rouens (left) are usually doing their own thing as they haven't been fully accepted by the flock yet (but it is getting better) so it is very seldom I get all 11 ducks in the same picture. So this is also a rare picture with the whole clan together.
