Please Read First
A) By participating in this game, I promise that all BYC Rules will be followed and that I have read and understood the Role Play Rules that are in a sticky at the top of the Games forum.
B) I promise that all content is to be rated G and suitable for all ages.
C) I promise that there will be no swearing, cursing (including censoring by using symbols) or inappropriate adult sexual activity or innuendo. This extends to mating, breeding or innuendo in non-human characters as well.
D) I promise to treat others with respect and kindness as is the BYC way.
E) I promise not to post any material that is a violation of copyright. Basically this means: if you didn't create the content (like an image / picture) and don't have direct permission from the content creator to post it, then don't.
This is a new Warrior Cats roleplay. It is set in old forest Windclan, while there were still tunnelers.
Rules:
-Rules above in bold are required for all BYC RPs. They should be followed as well as the ones below.
-Don't maim or kill somebody's character without asking them first.
-Roleplay can't change suddenly (e.g. It's a clear day and a hurricane starts out of nowhere)
-No art, character, or personality stealing.
Roles:
All roles are open. I would like to start with the leader and deputy, and warriors. If you would like to have an apprentice character, you can either put out an out of character post that says something like "anyone want an apprentice for one of their characters? I'm looking to create one", or you can directly ask a person about one of their characters. Same goes for mates and kits.
There can be several RP threads going in different directions (e.g. One group is on patrol and another is in the medicine den)
For character art, you can do it yourself, ask someone else to, have it done by me, or just provide a detailed description of the character.

Physical Description:
I am going to reply to the thread with a post that says "Create characters here." Please respond to that post with the above template filled out. I'm going to gauge interest in this and give people a chance to sign up. If there is lots of interest, I will wait two days for people to create characters, then start the Roleplaying on 6/15/2020. If there is little interest, I will let the thread go dormant for a while and try to revive it later.
In addition to the Windclan characters, we will need a leader for each of the other three clans, as well as a leader for a rouge group. These characters will only be used when interacting with Windclan cats. In other situations with different clans, you can describe a cat, but do not need to give them a name. (e.g. She spun around to see a silver tabby slashing at her hindquarters.")
Background information and Prophecy:
It is just the beginning of leaf fall, and the clans have been at war since new leaf. Windclan is allied with Riverclan, and Thunderclan and Shadowclan have also formed an unlikely allegiance. There have been heavy casualties from all four clans. The war was started when a group of rouges started living with Thunderclan. These rouges were originally peaceful, and stayed with the clan for several moons. One night at a gathering, they attacked all four clans, bringing with them twice as many rouges as were in the original group. Thunderclan was able to drive them out of their territory, but the rouges have set up a camp beyond the carrion place, behind Shadowclan's territory. They do not venture into clan territory often, as they are hoping that the clans will destroy each other. Windclan and Riverclan are allied against Thunderclan because they harbored the rouge group and gave them access to the clans. Shadowclan has joined forces with Thunderclan because Shadowclan was originally approached by the rouges, and would have harbored them if they had had the space. Shadowclan had a very full camp at the time, and sent them on to Thunderclan. A moon into the fighting, the medicine cats all received this prophecy:
When stone and earth are soaked red,
And when ghastly and unclear lays the path to tread,
One shall rise above the darkness widespread,
Who will let the sun show and make the dark dread,
By the sky and moon bestead.
The stars shall belight that path which lay ahead.
After a little bit of RPing, I will directly message someone with a suitable character to ask them to be the prophecy cat. This person is not supposed to reveal that they are the cat in the prophecy, but should guide their character accordingly. The character will not know this, only the person roleplaying it. It is not in character knowledge.
