When I was in junior high (no middle schools back then, lol) my math teacher was about 4'10" tall, had LONG, long hair and was quite young--maybe 23 or 24. A note came to the teacher from the office as she was walking up and down the aisles helping various students with their work. The student who brought the note asked the class where our teacher was, and when she said "I am right here" would not believe her--"No, really, where is your teacher, I have a note for her." I think he finally left it on the desk. Didn;t believe her or any of us. She was a great teacher, and also nice.
