I am so sorry to hear that. It is so hard when we loose out beloved chickens.

I just lost my rooster last week. He was sick and didn't show it until it was too late. He was such a good boy.

We spend so much time thinking ... 'if only I .... " , " I should have....... " .

I guess it just boils down to crappy things happen.

So sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear of ur loss too,,,,,its awful isn't it they are like family,,,well here they are,,,but now had to get rid of dog too as it nearly killed our rabbits yesterday.aswell,,,but our rooster won't let me near one of the other hens and im wondering wether the dog had a bit of a go at that one to
