I found a local hobby breeder that sold me 5 maran chicks!! 4 are black copper and one is a blue copper. He also gave me 2 hatching eggs that are halfway incubated for free which was really nice of him! I have been looking for about a year for some of this breed, and now I have some!! They are really happy gentle chicks... It is obvious he handled them a lot. Only way I could be happier is if they where steady laying, but I am just so pleased to have some in my flock!
