One of the neighborhood deer wonders why (s)he can't get in our yard anymore.

While her sisters just munch the newly emerging grass.

We have a worker fencing in the back of the property for the ducks.
I hope the deer respect the fence, though they could leap it if they wanted to.

As pretty as deer are they are murder on a garden. I had a bunch that came down out out the hills and ate every last rose bush - and that is going some - I have 32.

Agreed, Debi!

I wish I had my camera out yesterday when a Bald Eagle flew past my tower window in a hailstorm. He was probably wondering why he was being pinged on his head while minding his own bizness.

We've been here in Hollyweird for 5 years, and never saw a deer, only one hoofprint. The other day I startled 2 behind the shop. The garden is not fenced, but they haven't touched it.

Knocking on wood now. Terrie, is that the new place? With the 3rd story sewing tower? Wow, very nice!
