Sorry I don't have a pic-- help with chick

I don't have any way to post pictures: Anyway, I got a chick from the pullet bin at the farm store (they order from Welp's Hatchery) and I just can't figure out what it is. It is dark brown/black with very distinct light colored streaks, and it has a white ring around the eye. Any guesses?

I don't think it's possible to identify your chick without photos.

Wow, hard to guess this one. I'm thinking it could be a brown leghorn or a golden-laced or silver-laced wyandotte.

That's exactly what it looks like. A wyandotte. The legs are kinda slate colored on mine, but I see that the leg color varies.
