Sorta new to chickens.. have sick hens.. PLEASE HELP

First Post Ever... I went on vacation when I came back I found that 2 hens were sick (nasal discharge and runny poop) and lethargic. It sounds like they and a few others in the flock (w/o the other symptoms) seem to sound like they are gargling when they breathe. Want to help not sure where to start or what symptoms to look for. Also can we still eat the eggs that are being laid? Thanks

I am very sorry about your birds. I am going through the same thing with one of mine. Threehorses is a really knowledgeable person on here. I would PM her. Just go up to the Message button on the top blue bar and after you click it, hit the "send new message" button and message threehorses. She has really good advice. Good luck and keep us posted!
