SOS CHICK NOT HATCHING

It will probably be dried tomorrow and can be cut off if it hasn't fallen off by itself.
It did dry off thankfully and he is looking good. Do you know if 83 humidity it too high for the rest of my chicks that haven’t hatched? Every time one hatches the humidity goes up and doesn’t ever come down. I would take them out because they are all dry but I have a chick who has pipped and I don’t want to risk shrink wrapping my chick in the shell.

If your brooder is up to temp and ready I would quickly remove the hatchlings. Just be quick and not leaving incubator open long with that humidity it won't hurt for it to drop a little. With hatching going on it should regain humidity quickly. Some say never open incubator if you have pipped eggs, as long as its quick and not for long periods and your incubator recoups fast I have not had problems with this.
