SOS Copper Bolus

Hello! My chicken ate a copper bolus meant for my goat. Will she pass it before the pill shell breaks down? Is it fatal?

It can be toxic but that is slow releasing. I'd get her on some Poultry Cell or similar vitamin water to help combat any toxic levels. You can also make her possibly pass it faster by putting some molasses in the water as well as the vitamins. About 1/4 cup of it in a gallon of water.

Activated charcoal could help too. Most drug stores have that. I'm not sure of how much but we can find out if you want to go that route.
