hey all,

I have 11 lavender orpingtons that are now 11 weeks old. I was fairly certain that 4 of them were hens and the rest roosters by comparing against each other and these 4 had (and have) pretty significantly smaller combs & wattles (lighter in color too) compared to some of my "obvious" roosters that have been bright red and full wattles. But today while outside, one of my "hens" is very much the bully of the group, full on fighting some of the definite roosters and honestly may be going for top roo spot. This "girl" has some pretty thick legs too. What has peoples success rate been in trying to sex them at 11 weeks ? I know they are a more difficult breed to sex. And given that description, do you lean towards roo or hen for this Fiesty Chick ?
