I moved closer to the city

we still are allowed to have chickens and pigeons here but limited on amount

i miss having so we are building a small penn with a flight/run

now few mistakes

we used floor wood for the sides this wood is gonna bust by water? anyway we can fix this ?

ALso see how the flight is not wide or tall like the indoor portion? We wanted to make it like the indoor part but would that be a lot of extra money and work?

i have unlimited amount free hardwood flooring, but we know it rots in rain so we using that as a frame, thinking of drilling a tarp or something to prevent rotting?

flight cage will be attached later 12 long and 5 6 high

It is very hard to see but it looks as if the wire section has wire on all four sides and the top? If this is true, one option to expand may be to remove the back piece of wire and attach the cage directly to your fence. To say it another way - have the fence serve as the back side of the wired cage. In this way, you may be able to have more wire for extension of the sides or to use for the roof.
