Hello BYC lovers!!

Although we 'technically" are not chicken owners we are caring for our schools birds and as a bonus trial run to see how well my kids would participate in caring for the little ladies. We have had them over the summer and they will go back soon, we are all smitten with them!! Thankfully (and surprisingly) my husband said YES to our own flock!

so we will be spending the fall building our dream coop and then hopefully in the early, early spring we will get some pullets.

Anyone else in the upstate area? Would love to find breeders and other chicken lovers who are local!
