Does anybody have a good source of rare breed chickens for Southern California? I live in northern San Diego and have been trying to find Frizzled naked necks for years now, no luck anywhere. I would joyfully settle for a barred naked neck, or laced, or any neat feather pattern, but red naked necks seem to be the only type (rarely) available here. Any suggestions other than ordering eggs? (I don't have an incubator, and just discouraged all my hens from egg eating, so no broody hen solutions)
