Southern Illinois Khaki Campbell Duck One-year old Female -To good home with other Ducks

Looking to rehome-Free to a loving home.

We are in Elizabethtown IL.

Looking for a new home for our lonely Ducky girl. Her name is technically, Rowan, but we have just been calling her by the nickname white neck. You can see in the photos that she has a pretty white patch of feathers on her neck.

We started last year with four Khakis, but bobcats and eagles have picked them off, one by one, and now we have one poor girl left on her own. She is not used to being alone; She seems quite sad, and is always calling for other ducks. She needs some good duck friends to live with.

She is a very tame, and will eat out of your hand. She will go up at night without much coaxing. She follow us around and go for walks around the yard. And when visitors come, she takes to new people very quickly. We are only trying to find her a new home because we are just too heart broke to over the other ducks to risk any more being lost to predators.

We love our little ducky, and want to find her a good home. We are not selling her for food! But, she is a great layer for eggs, one large egg a day without fail. But she needs to be with other ducks. It is just heartbreaking watching her try to search and call and never find her friends.

If you have some ducks who could use a new friend, please contact us if you can help.

Thanks for reading.

You are about 10 hours from our ranch. Dang it!

If you take a road trip, we can meet you closer to our ranch. White neck is welcome to join our duckies in a forever home. We don't eat the duckies!

Currently, my duckies free range from about 6 am - 2 pm, go to the Clubhouse which has a pool, from 5-6:30/7 pm free range. Then to bed. :) Their room is predator proof. Haven't lost any animals to predators.

I would be happy to send pics and updates on how she's doing, if you want.

I hope you find a great home for her. Like I said, the offer for a forever home here is open.

Thanks for getting back to me, Sara. Your place does sound perfect for our ducky. I wish we were closer. We are still looking for a new forever home for her. Until then, we will continue to spoil her and hang out with her ourselves as much as we can. But we are no substitutes for other ducks. :( Keep you fingers crossed for us and thanks again,

Evelyn
