Hello all my fellow Michiganders! I am getting ready to be a backyard chicken owner after the insistence from my 10 year old daughter. We recently moved to Grass Lake and many of our neighbors have small flocks. We are allowed to have up to 6 chickens but no roosters. Any suggestions on the best chickens to get for friendliness and egg laying?
