Was just wondering if anyone was attending? I will be attending but wont be showing. Im going to pick up a few birds and see what else I can spend money on, lol.

I will be there. Did you go to the trade/swap event April 8,9,10? Was as big as I have ever seen it, good times. I have a handful of beautiful wyandottes and leghorns I would like to show but have not decided on it yet.

No, I didnt get to make it up there for the swap days. Something I miss every year because of work. I have put off for the weekend of the show though, as I have to pick up birds.

I'm still debating. I work weekends, so asking for all the time off could be a problem. Especially since I'm going to Shelbyvill the weekend before.

What is the S.O.P.A. show? I have never been there, but have heard of the swap meet that is there. I only live about an hour away. Are there many good breeders there?

I will be attending the show. I'm new to chickens (have 10 chicks in the brooder right now) and can't wait to see all the birds. This will be the first show I will have attended. My husband already told me to bring some cash since he's sure I'll want to buy something.

There will be hundreds of good breeders. The Louisville show never disappoints. I usually try to make either the fall or spring show every year. It's one of the bigger, better shows in the Midwest. If you haven't been you should definitely make a point of going. They usually have a decent sales area too.

Count me in. I went to my first show in Greenville this year. It was nice, kind of small but I saw a lot of breeds that I have only seen pictures of before. My husband was astounded by the Brahmas, so of course I had to get him some hatching eggs.

For me it was nice to see some Faverolles I just love them, I miss mine so much. I might just sell all these Marans and get some more of them.
