Southern States Chick Days

So Southern States was having their "Chick Days" yesterday so I went and got some chicks.

Here's the breeds I got.

2 Barred Rocks

2 Rhode Island Red (That's what they called them but I think they may be some sort of production red)

2 Buff Orpingtons


I was trying to get each and every one of them picture but they won't hold still.

And this should probably go in the duck section but you guys like anything cute and fluffy right?

They are Rouen Ducklings.

These guys were a lot more patient.

Going for a swim.

They were actually going all the way under and swimming.

OH MY GOSH!!! Those ducks are so adorable! Makes me want to take my ducks for a little bath today. The dreary weather seems an appropriate excuse for a swim in the bathtub. I hope you have lots of fun with them!

Of course you have to put the ducky pics on this forum, because I don't go to the duck forum so I would never see those cutie pies. I need to call our local Southern States co-op to see if they are getting chicks in this year. I really want some barred rocks, and TSC never has them.
