Southern tablelands nsw Australia

It's most common in meat birds. It is thought to be brought on by heart failure, but no one is certain what caused the heart to fail.

My little silkie was very small, never laid an egg even though about 3 years old, probably considered the runt of the group. But such a lovely natured gentle little chook. Buttercup was my favourite silkie.
A lot of Currawongs around, eating the berries from the Virginia creeper vine growing over the top of the wire on the chook run. Maybe enough to frighten her to have a heart attack.
