Space for Chickens

Hey im going to build a new coop for my chickens, because my chicken tractor is getting to small. I was just wondering if any one knew what a good amount of space is for an adult chicken.

Right now I have 4 in a 14ft by 8ft pen and they have more than enough room. How many do you have?

i have 6 right now, but two in the brooder and one in the incubator so far im hoping that my 6 other eggs will hatch soon.

So you're going to have about 15?

I have 8 in the brooder, so I am going to have to expand too because then I will have 13. I have heard some say you need at least 2 square feet per chicken and I have heard 10 square feet per chicken. I don't really know which is right. But right now, I am going to measure out a 20X20 and see how it looks before we build it.
