I have a 8foot by 16foot shed (with plenty of head space, the shortest end is 6foot) that I have a quad of chickens in. They are turned out at sunrise and penned up at sunset. Would it be too crowded to add a pair of peafowl or turkeys to this?

Itd be plenty of room to add a pair of peafowl or pair of turkeys, or both and then some.

It would be a bit close for them. Also be aware that peafowl or turkeys are susceptible to blackhead that is carried by chickens. I routinely keep my peafowl and chickens together, but we are not bothered by blackhead in our area.

My breeding pen for peafowl 10 X 20 feet for a trio, 12 X 36 for a peacock and 4 peahens. Need to be a least 6 foot tall.

Peacocks after 3 yrs old get their long trains, they need large areas because of the train.

Note how long the train gets. This flighpen is 14 ft tall
