We have some bickering going on in our coop in the early morning, before we get out there. I'd like to free up more space for the chickens and maker our own feeder and waterer... the ones we have now are huge "farm" style ones that take up a lot of space. Ideas? Links? Thanks everyone :)

For feeding, we use a vinyl roof gutter that is attached to the wall. Since it is wall-mounted, it takes up very little space. Nipple waterers can be a great space saver since they can be mounted off the ground and/or near walls as well.

I have found a great way to save space in our coop. I use baby pig feeders, with the slide way down so they don't waste a lot of feed, and mounted them right under the nest boxes, when I need to fill them I just unhook them off the screws and fill them and hook them back on, takes like 1 minute and works great. In the summer I move them to a outdoor sheltered area for them to eat outside. Works great and saves feed!
