Speckled Sussex from M. McMurray ???

I've got three, 2 roos and a big hen, all beautiful. Are they suitable for breeding?

Why not?... but only use the best looking roo.... and rehome the other.

They won't be show quality but hey...

I once won Reserve Grand Champion of Division at my State Fair with a Murray McMurray hen. I also have placed first in class with a few. The way to do it though, is buy a large bunch, at least a dozen of each breed and pick the best one. I think some of MM's breeds are great, and some are so-so. It never hurts to try.

Thanks so much for this feedback! It really helps me get clear. I have to choose who stays and who goes by Monday morning. Not my favorite part of this hobby.
