Speckled Sussex or Salmon Faverolle

They seem very hardy, and friendly - especially the red. They're the first ones laying in the morning, no matter how cold it is. I can easily pick the reds up and hold them. Now the blacks are quite curious and friendly too.

I have 4 EE hens that are a little skittish, but the babies I hatched out this spring are pretty inquisitive and friendly. Good layers--my girls lay around 5 eggs a week each.
I just got some SS chicks from the feed store this spring, and despite not handling them too much, they are very calm, quiet, and friendly birds so far. Underfoot quite often, in fact. Too young for eggs, so I can't give an opinion on that, but I like them enough to have found them a cockerel

My EE's love to be held.

I had some SS but unfortunetly I lost them while I was on vacation. I am hoping to get some more.

Anyway. I would go with all three. But the friendiest I would say is probably the EE's. Depending on who you get them from.
