Speckled sussex rooster and barred rock hens

Does any one know what the chicken would turn out to look like if you crossed a speckled sussex rooster and a barred rock hen

They would look like black sex links. Black females probably with some red mostly on neck & maybe hackles, black barred males, again possible leakage

I have done this cross with mine.

There weren't easily sexable as chicks but the roos came out a really dark barred and the hens, about half were the color of normal Black Sexlinks ( black with golden necks) and the others were black with white mottleing in the breast feathers, but they eventually lost the mottleing and turned solid black.

Sorry I don't have any pics of them, it was several months ago when I hatch them and I sold them at around 4 mos old.

So anyway they didn't produce color sexable chicks so I didn't breed any more, I used a Buff Orp roo for a while and that made beautiful sexlinks (I do have pics of these if you want them )
but had started having leg problems and went to the freezer and now I use a RIR roo.
