I was watching Chick TV today and studying my possible roo. Yes, I do believe it is a roo. It does the fluffing of feathers frequently. Do they do that to show dominance or just sticking their neck straight up? He is also the one that doesn't come up to me when I have treats and dinner, he kind of walks around in the background back and forth while the others come and eat. It's after a while that he will come over and start eating. If the others don't leave the area while he's eating, he will peck at one of their necks and make a funny noise and then they scatter. Then he has the whole area to himself. If they wander back over because they are still hungry, he will make the noise again and chase them away again. Seems pretty dominant to me and I'm new at this.
