Spent 20min trying to catcha mouse while my cats watched

K im firing my cats. I had been out with the chickens and as i came back up to the house my two big boys(ragdoll and Persian) were trying to get under a planter. I lifted the planter and a mouse came scurrying out. The ragdoll pounced for it but when the mouse squeaked he jumped about 3 ft up in the air and to the side trying to get away. The persian just watched. So the ragdoll tries again and chases it towards the front door of my house. when he corners it and it turns and squeaks again he freaks out. So i was left to try and get it into a bowl and away from the house while the two of them sat nearby and watched me. Now that it is gone they are both looking for it. Crazy cats. I need a breed that isnt such a pussy cat. Where was my maine coon when i needed her. she is my mouser.

Poor ragdoll all the other cats are gonna laugh at him for being scared of a mouse!
