I hate lockdowns!!! They can be so annoying. We had one two weeks ago and I wound up with two kids I didn't even know in my room. My students were no big deal and we goofed around mainly...but the other two..OMG
I'm sorry you had to have a day like that! They always kind of ruin the day, even when they are for nothing.

I'm glad that it turned out not to be anything too bad, and not a threat to anyone at the school.

We had something like that a few years ago here. it turned out some guy was seen with a gun in public and they thought the worst.

We had one of those mornings a few years ago when I worked in the public school system. NOT FUN! It was really rather stressful knowing that you were in charge of keeping all of those babies safe. I'm happy to hear that everyone is safe and that everything turned out okay!

We have never had a lockdown at our local school except for drills.

It is a small district and so far everything has been smooth sailing!
