this is my favorite and best landscaping plant, unkillable, even by free-ranging birds, and just beautiful. Its technically a weed, but I have separated and replanted it in numerous locations and shared it with friends over the years. You can look it up on line as purple spiderwort probably. Its dark, dark purple with yellow center, blooms every morning and closes at night, lasts for months and is ourageously coldhardy. I'd love to send you some, for chicks or fertile eggs in return. (Can't keep roosters here in town). Tell me what you've got.
