Splash Brahma Pullet or cockerel?

My splash Brahma is 4 weeks old, do you think cockerel or pullet?

These are slow developers, so it may take a while. The bird is not pure splash, as those would not have any buff feathers. I think it is splash buff, meaning the tail, hackle, and part of the wings will be splash but other parts of the body will be buff. It's basically a buff Brahma with splash highlights instead of the usual black.

Thanks for your reply, do you think it will look like the pic I’ve attached? Both its parents where blue splash brahmas so it’s interesting that this one’s got some buff.

Yes, it could look like those, although it seems to be deeper in color.

Hidden color genetics can do interesting things.
