Billy is a beautiful White Crested Splash Polish Bantam cockerel who needs a new home immediately since he just started crowing today and I am not permitted to have a rooster in my area. He has been living a life of luxury thus far with lots of hugs, a large yard to free range in and all the organic feed he could want.
He is very dear to me because he is one of the first chicks I hatched out in my incubator. I'm hoping someone out there might be able to give him a lovely home where he can continue to live a similar lifestyle. You don't have to give him hugs if you think that's weird, but he is not for eating and would be miserable if confined to a coop 24/7.
Billy is 12 weeks old. The first 5 pictures are of him.

I also have 2 of his 'brothers' from a later hatch available. They are a bit less cuddly since they were from a larger brood and didn't get as much one on one time, but they are still very lovely tame birds. Oliver has a large vaulted skull which I've learned is a predominantly female trait and is also very desirable. It creates the illusion of a much fuller crest. And Mikey looks like he will mature to look similar to Billy. Oliver and Mikey are both 8 weeks old.

All three boys are from eggs I got on ebay from a breeder in Texas with an NPIP tested flock. Their parents were Frizzled White Crested hens under a smooth White Crested Black rooster.

Please let me know if you can give one or all of them a nice loving home. I would even be willing to deliver them a reasonable distance.

Thank you

Hi LilacChicken,

I just saw your ad from February as I searched on google for polish chicks. I've decided to sign up for this website, so I can send you this email.
So, I'd like to add to my flock of motley girls who peck around the property and to include some extravagant polish chickens... I'm not a farmer, or someone who is looking for any kind of benefit from having chickens. I know very little about chicken husbandry and, frankly, I don't really care to. I really enjoy having chickens prowling around, looking for goodies in the dirt and being a part of the community of other animals and people around. As I come out to have a cigarette, I like to watch the one-year-old girls (and Lancelot, the chick that's turned out to be a dude) doing their thing. I guess, I've just gotten to appreciate these creatures aesthetically as they roam the yard. I don't expect anything from the girls. I think they live a good life here. They make eggs, which we steal and eat because they are way more delicious than the store-bought ones, but really egg production is not our point either. If these awesome girls lie no eggs, it'd be quite alright with me. I just like the flock and observing it's dynamics...
But, anyways. I'm intruding on you to ask some questions, since you seem to be knowledgeable. Where could I get some polish breed chicks for this spring? I'd really like to provide a great home for a couple of these girls and ad them to the flock. I like how they look; they'd be so rad walking around the land... The place is in El Cajon, near San Diego, do you have or know how I could get a few gorgeous polish chicken chicks? The little guy in the photos you posted is so awesome... How could I get one of those?
I hope my email is ok with you. If you decide to respond, please contact me at [email protected]
Much love,

Gregor
