I have a rooster that I hatched out last summer from a farm selling fertilized Easter Egger eggs. This guy hatched from a blue egg and had a distinct black dot on his head. I’m curious to know thoughts on breed traits. After researching I believe he is a splash whitening true blue and ameraucana cross. I attached a picture of him as a baby and full grown. Would love insight if anyone has some 🥰

I recently made a thread about a hen that I have with the same coloring. She’s a lightly marked paint, that is what your boy is also. But I was asking about a tan color that she has on her. Im not sure if your boy is the same but it is a red gene (I think autosomal red if I remember right) that caused the tan color in my girl. I’ll find the thread and link it so you can read it if you want.

But your boy is a paint - which is one copy of dominant white over black. If you breed him to black hens, 1/2 the chicks will be black, 1/2 will have a copy of dominant white and be paint. I’ll attach a pic of my similarly colored girl.

No. Heinz 57 is usually a term used in the dog world for mixed mutts. The name comes from the Heinz sauce that's made up of many different ingredients. The dogs, or in this case chickens, have lots of different breeds mixed together to give you a unique individual.
Oh I love that! Thank you for explaining to me 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🥰
