Splayed leg on chicks

Do you have any pictures of the chick? I pull the legs closer together, around 1 1/2 inch apart, and use a 1 inch strip of cohesive or vet wrap, and tape them. Bandaids or hair bands can also be used. Leave it in for 3-4 days for best results. Here is a good link with pictures:

Here it is, it doesn't want to put its toes down, it's elbow looks sore, that's what it walks on

It looks like the chick could have more going on, such as a leg bone deformity (varus or valgus deformity, twisted legs) or a slipped tendon. Those are usually not successfully treated. I would put some disinfectant or Neosporin on the leg scabs. A chick vitamin with riboflavin, or human b complex 1/4 tablet daily crushed into a spoonful of water might be of some help.
