Splitting up a flock

I have 4 raised garden beds that I want to use to "pasture" my chickens so they can wander about eating bugs and plants during the day but also be protected by fencing from cats that wander about. It will be enough room when they are young, but when they are full sized, I assume I will need to split my flock of 8 into two groups (the garden beds are 36 sq ft each). Will this create a problem when they are reunited in the coop in the evening?

I would have to say no.
I will take hens and put them in my fenced garden to eat weed seeds, insects, fertilize and turn the soil during the non productive times of the year and then put them in the coop about hour or so before dark and I have no issues.

Thank you. I hoped it would be okay. I wanted to be sure they have enough room so they won't fight over territory.
