Sportsman 1502 pricing

So who has the best prices on a Sportsman 1502? Anyone with a recommendation for an online seller? Also does anyone use the water reserve for humidity control, or is getting that wasting money?

HI get the automatic water bucket for the humidity its nice as you just fill it and it keeps everything nice and regulated and you dont have to open the incubator to fill it..Chris

with a float valve and a few fittings and two 5 gallon pails you can build the humidifier for less than $10,oo

After some searching it looks like surehatch.com has the best price, and there's $15 off shipping!

However I've received some strong recommendations for Dickey incubators that have me rethinking my choice. I have a feeling I can't go wrong either way but I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who has an opinion in either direction. I would like to hear from you before I drop $700+ on an incubator (that had better last forever!).

I have heard that with the Dickey, the key thing is customer service. He is wonderful and willing to help you at anytime.

After ordering from surehatch, let me advise you to stay away from them. Customer service sucks, they never tell you
when your unit will ship, just give you false dates or "we'll call you back" and you'll never hear from them.

Order it directly from GFQ, the address is www.gqfmfg.com/. Now they had great service, told me the day it shipped and the day it would
arrive and they were spot on, it was delivered that day. I ordered the incubator from Surehatch, it shipped from GFQ, then ordered
a hatcher directly from gfq.

I love my sportsman! I do not have the auto water bucket. I just fill the unit every 3 days. Works great!

I have ran this bator for four or five years and absolutely love it. I just purchased the automatic humidity bucket this spring, it was definitely worth the cost. However, I keep a close eye on it as it has dried out and dropped humidity levels a few times on me (I run it constantly and sometimes forget to clean the hoses). I purchased mine used from an emu hatchery so I can't help you with distributors, but I would suggest the GQF website.
