Spot Check or Egg O Meter Thermometer

I am in need of a new Thermometer for my incubator, I have read great reviews regarding the Spot Check and Egg O Meter Thermometers. Also I can find no information on probe length for either, Both probes look very short in all the pictures I have seen however I know looks can be deceiving especially on the WWW


Can anyone help me out with probe length and real world experience in using them?

I have the Spot Check. Very accurate. Length of probe and wire is 20 inches. The probe itself is 2.5 inches
