The Society for the Preservation of Poultry Antiquities is alive and kicking, and we now have a brand new website at SPPA.club, with information on how to join!
Anyone who is serious about long term, rare breed stewardship and preservation, who enjoys poultry history, or who is looking for connections with a community of like minded preservationists, should consider joining the SPPA. We are an actual, physical club founded in the 1970s and have been instrumental in the preservation of many breeds to the present day.
Immediate benefits of membership are a full color, quarterly bulletin and a paper copy of our Breeders Directory. We also have regional meets at poultry shows across the country where you can connect with others, see their birds and above all, talk poultry!
