I got some silkie eggs and put under my hens. Hatched cute little babys. One keeps falling on her belly. Read every thing I could find. Poly vi so , yogurt, electrlytes, vet wrap, mat for grip. she eats good and drink good. but stands on her tiptoes and stands there. When she trys to walk, down she goes and can't get up. Most of the time with the vet rap she ends up on her back. Now I can't go to sleep like that. Without the vet wrap she can get up buy her self.
What am I doing wrong? Looks looks like shes standing on her toes. Do I need to put her in a tub like thing so she will not fall over? I don't want to give up. What am I missing?

So her legs keep spreading out further or is she just on her tip toes? Some are very shaky at first few days. Looks like her toes are all spread, not curled in so she's walking on the side of her foot. Some chicks pull out of it, as they eat/drink get stronger. Some, its sad don't make it or die slowly due to a leg or some other problem.

No her legs are more stiff. When she falls without hobbles her legs stretched out behine her.
