Spray for feet and legs

I ran across a thread about spraying the chickens' feet and legs with something to keep them healthy.
We have 5 that my sons will show at the fair in the fall, I'd like to know what this spray is to keep them looking good? Any other tips to have healthy looking birds, too.

Your probably thinking of sprays for leg mites. There are quite a few mite sprays out there both insecticidal and organic. I use pure. Cedar oil as needed. I get large gallons at cedarcide.com. I use their tri- jet fogger to fogg the coop as needed for mites and lice which will happen sooner or later. I spritz spray the oil on the chickens if I see mites or lice on them. Works great!!!

A lot of others use Vaseline on the legs to smother leg mites.
