Spray paint ok for new coop?

I am putting together a new coop this week and am curious if anyone has had any trouble(or success) using simple can spray paints for the exterior?

Painting with spray cans is pricey, spray cans don't cover much area.
I have used galvanized spray cans to re-paint shabby looking metal roofing.

Unless you're looking for some 'creative' colors, stick with quarts or gallon cans and brush it on..

Check your local re-store or Habitat for Humanity store for bargain priced paint.
Some times Home Depot or Lowes has a 'mis-take' shelf.

Use exterior paint for out side!

Make sure the animals arent near when u do this and make sure it dries and the fumes settle
