Spring like weather leads to exhaustion!

It's beautiful out today with temps. in the mid 50s.

The coops have been cleaned

The waterers and feeders scrubbed and refilled.

Mama Hen and babies have been guarded as they ran all over creation and are now safely back in the their coop.

I need a nap.

We finally made it to 35 degrees. We haven't been above freezing for 55 days, so I gave the ducks new water in there pool. They were so happy. I can't believe I actually took my hat off because I got a little warm.

We will have to build a free-range pen before anything can be cleaned, due to a certain hawk problem

I cant WAIT for it to get to those temps here! I always get motivated to get things done... For a little while anyways..

heh, I only today got my snow chains off my truck and my regular tires put back on. LOL Course, I did have to go in to work, and me and hubbs DID go out to eat, so it wasn't a total wash. Gritty sure outdid me though!
Supposed to be warm all next week though, so I've got big plans for my days off!
