Last night when I was checking my chicks over, I noticed that 4 out of my 5 have bumps where the spurs wwould be.
Does this mean they are males?
I know one is for sure a male and the lone one that doesnt have the bump is for sure a female.
I dont remember how old my chicks are, shame on me. think they are 5 weeks or so.

All my chicks have spur bumps. I'm pretty sure mine are female. There are hens that actually grow spurs.

All chickens have spur bumps. Lots of hens have fully-developed spurs, especially when they are older.

The best indicator for male or female is when they crow or lay an egg, lol. I would be looking at their combs. The males will become red and more pronounced.
