Does cutting the spur cause much bleeding? I have a Pheonix and his spurs are getting long so I have been thinking about cutting them off but have never done it.

Any information you can give me would be most helpfull.

if you tap on the spur real lightly once it is inserted into the gauge with the backside of the saw before cutting with this saw there is no bleeding at all...works great
